With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sidney Claiborne Moore of Moline, Illinois, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claiborne Moore and Gladys Moore (Gibbs); his granddaughter Elida Rayann "Lilly" Diaz; and his siblings, Roland Moore, Phillip Moore, Donald Moore, Barbara Little, Phyllis Pryor and Sylvia Nicholson.
He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Moore-Abeyta; his son-in-law Joshua Abeyta; his grandson De Marcus Martinez; his great grandchildren, Malachi David and Jason Yae; and his siblings, Kenneth Moore (Debbie), Loretta Pittman, Clarice Williams, Norweda Carter and Den. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd. (1902 3rd Ave, East Moline, IL 61244). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
