He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Leora and Tomasa Compean Leora; and his siblings, Juan, Matilde, Concho, Evelia and Julian.

He is survived by: his wife Ediberta Noyola; his sons, Juan Compean and Ricardo Compean (Patricia); his grandchildren, Sebastian, Roxana and Felix; and his brothers, Rogelio and Abelardo.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1307 17th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Church.
