It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert J. Baecke (Moline, Illinois), who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Robert J. Baecke to show support.

He was predeceased by: his sister JoAnn Baecke; and his great grandchildren, Natalie and Nora. He is survived by: his daughters, Jane Haedt (Harry), Bettendorf and Mary Spranger (Mark); his grandchildren, Jonathan Haedt, Benjamin Haedt (Jordan), Grant Spranger (Lauren) and Sydney Upton (Parker); and also, Martena Byron (James) of Chillicothe, IL. and Geraldine.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Anne Church (555 18th Ave, East Moline, IL 61244). A Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

As a proud Army veteran and for his appreciation of First Responders memorials can be made to Wounded Warriors and Tunnel to Towers.
