He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Melcher and Virginia Melcher (Cox); his stepmother Wanda Melcher; and his sister Dianne Sue Melcher. He is survived by: his wife Janet Swinehart; his children, Holly Kriz, Kristine Brown, Christopher, Brent Melcher and Mark Montoney; his grandchildren, Caleb, Daniel, Christian, Jamie, Neko, Brianna, Destiny, Alexis, Jared, Aaron, Cameron, Tyler, Sean, Sierra and Derek; and his siblings, Patty Melcher, Rick and Bill Melcher. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
