He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur R. Farrar and Hazel M. Farrar (Shellberg). He is survived by: his children, Victoria "Vicki" Graves (Shaun) of Moline, Valerie Farrar of Moline and Arthur Richard "Rick" Farrar (Dena) of Martinez, Georgia; his granddaughters, Charlotte and Clara Graves; his children, Cordelia and Gwenyth Farrar; and his cousin Carol Shellberg.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Horizon Room at Trimble Pointe (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 24th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the CityView Room at Trimble Pointe (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 24th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (2700 6th Ave, Moline, IL 61265).
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Two Rivers YMCA or the Moline Public Library.
