With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard A. Buckwalter of Moline, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Buckwalter and Dorothy Buckwalter (Nieuwenhuis); his wife Virginia "Ginny" Wilhelm; and his grandchild Ryan Buckwalter. He is survived by: his sons, Marty Buckwalter (Lisa) and John Buckwalter; his grandchildren, Alex Buckwalter, Allie Manuel (Elliott) and Kylie Junk (Brady); his great grandchild Bradley Junk; and his siblings, Mickey Buckwalter and Bob Buckwalter (Shirley).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
