She is survived by: her children, William John Nelson (Kitty) and Dee Anna Sinclair (David); her husband Larry Lewis Nelson; her brother John Slover Jr. (Diane); and her grandchildren, Christopher, Lindsey and Nichole. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews.
