He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Nye and Frances Nye (Fleagle); his stepson Steven McKean; and his sister Ann Hunter-Broughton. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his daughters, Cara Marske (Kirk) and Kristin Johnson (Sarabia); his stepson Jason (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Dominique Thomas, Donovan Cartwright-Nye, Alexis Thomas, Connor Saul and Natalie Saul; his great grandchild Naomi; and his sisters, Gayle Derrick and Lisa Miller (Mike).
