He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Carlson and Sara Carlson (Lamont); his wife Joyce Fulscher; and his siblings, Shirley McManus and Jim Carlson.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Bell (Scott), Tim Carlson (Anna) and Steve Carlson (Cece).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rafferty Funeral Home (2111 1st Street A a, Moline, IL 61265, USA). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (2502 29th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul food pantry at St. Pius X church.
