She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Arlt (Groom) and Ervin "Frenchy" Arlt; and her siblings, Jeanette R. Smith, Darla D. Twesme and Duane K Arlt.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Douglas D. Stewart of Alexander City, AL and Barbara J. Hunter of Moline; her grandchildren, Abigail A. Fuentes (Christopher) of Moline, James P. Hunter of Moline, Daniel L. Hunter of Moline, Brady D. Stewart of Iowa City, IA and Holley D Stewart of Nashville, TN; her great grandchildren, Cole, Sophia and Gabriella; her sister-in-law Dareen K. Arlt of Corona, CA; and her stepsister Linda Binegar of Newton, IA..
