She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Lowther and Ruth Lowther; her husband Otto Earl Horton Jr.; her sons, Lonnie Horton and Otto Horton III; and her siblings, Dale, Jack, Cora, Virginia and Betty.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Grover, Shirley A. Waters, Carl L. Horton, Timothy L. Horton, Joseph M. Horton, Chris M. Horton, Jerry L. Horton and Bonnie K. Pierce; her aunt Frieda; and her uncle Carl. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
