Elke Armstrong Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elke Armstrong of Moline, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Elke is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Elke's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her father Horst Joswig. She is survived by: her mother Anneliese Weichert Joswig of Woodstock, Ontario; her children, Paul Armstrong (Sally) and Ayden Armstrong; her siblings, Frank Joswig and Doris Grambow; her friends, Mary Morabito of Bright, Ontario. and Jennifer Carpenter; and her family Elke.
Memorials may be made in care of K9 Kindness Rescue in Bettendorf, Iowa, the organization that Elke collaborated with, and where she found her fur baby, Lisa.
