It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Jerome Morrissey of Moline, Illinois, who passed away on April 4, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Morrissey and Marie Morrissey (Doran); and his wife Patricia Greenfield. He is survived by: his siblings, Eleanor Hodges and James P. Morrissey of Stuart, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (3209 60th St, Moline, IL 61265). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Chapel Hill Cemetery (1121 N Galena Ave, Dixon, IL 61021).
