She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dearth and Verna Dearth (Stropes); her grandsons, Jason and Paul Hesse; and her son-in-law George Hesse.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie McCallum, Craig Smiddy (Jana) and Mark Smiddy (Shirley); her grandchildren, Markie Smiddy, Mendy Hines (Scotty), Joey Hesse, Tara Martynov (Arthur), Jessica Bueras (Tony) and Breanna Mischler (Kyle); her siblings, Cindy Teaver of Springfield, MO and Richard Dearth of Chesapeake, VA; and her granddaughter-in-law Lynsy Hesse. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Charlotte's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
