He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Lassiter Cooper and Ada Cooper-Buchanan (Louise); and his sister Denise Cooper Clayton. He is survived by: his wife Dorcas Cooper; his children, Calvin G. Cooper II and Christina V. Cooper; his grandchildren, Omari, Noel, Londyn, D'Angelo, Ariana and Ursalina; his siblings, Deborah Cooper-Davis (Larry), Dan D. Cooper and Angela L. Burrell; his niece Teresa Cooper; and his nephews, Daniel Clayton and Carlton Morant.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the New Life Apostolic Church of God (218 35th Ave, East Moline, IL 61244). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM and at 9:30 AM.
