She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore and Erna Batterman (Matthews); her brother Ted Batterman (Marilyn); and her brother-in-law Charles Backhus (Ruth). She is survived by: her children, Craig Backhus (Marcy), Deb Backhus, Karl Backhus, Karen Healy (Robert) and Anna Boyle (Dave); her grandchildren, Emily Benninghoff, Kurt Backhus, Kyle Backhus, Eric Boyle, Alec Backhus, Max Boyle, Brett Backhus, Sammi Boyle, Maddi Boyle, Ethan Healy and Aidan Healy; and her great grandchild Caleb Benninghoff.
