He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda (Ford); his sons, Peter (Nicola) and Tom (Joyce); his siblings, Cyril (Eileen), Michael (late Marilyn), Harry (Mary), Frances and Kathleen Watson-Mitchell (late Bernie); and his grandchildren, Jack, Isla, Quinlan and Casey. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
