He was predeceased by: his wife Harriet Narel (Marecki); his son Ted Narel; and his sisters, Amelia and Emily. He is survived by: his children, Helen Rupslauk (Ralph), Celine Narel, Jenny Narel and James Narel (Wendy); his sister Sophie Waskel; his grandchildren, Lori, Mary, John, Anthony, Steven, Ashley, Christopher and Dylan; and his great grandchildren, Angel, Augie, Abby and Ben.
