He was predeceased by: his parents, Verner Johnson and Corinne Johnson (Allendorf); his wife Wanda (Button); his granddaughter Lindsy Chambers (Chellios); and his parents-in-law, Vernon and Lucille Button (Walker).
He is survived by: his children, Susan Markgraf (Christopher) of Mundelein, Sharon Hentsch (Cedric) of Mokena, Sandra Chellios (Mark) of Manhattan and Steven Johnson (Melanie) of Lockport; his grandchildren, Matthew Markgraf (Asia) of Murray, KY, Alex Johnson (Jessica) of Groves, TX, Sarah, Kyle Chellios (Malai) of Lakeland, FL, Brittany Hentsch of Tinley Park, IL, Corinne Mitcheff (Kory) of New Lenox, IL, Kali Hentsch (Jordan Hays) of Justin, TX and Hannah Johnson of Lockport, IL.; and his great grandchildren, Carson, Charlotte, Ellie, Griffin, Fitz, Briar, Mika, Eliza and Bru. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
