The memory of Florence M. Cort-Kaczmarski of Mokena, Illinois, who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Secondo Cort and Mary Cort (Richard Kaczmarski); and her brother Vincent "Jimmy" Cort. She is survived by: her sister Angie Czyz (Anthony); her nieces, Cindy Gerritsen (Doug), Debbie Phillips (late Dave) and Mary Kay Gardiner (Don); her nephew Dennis Cort; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Greg Gerritsen (Caroline), Andy Gerritsen, Meagan Hamilton, Melissa Horodysky (Alex), Meredith Gardiner, McKenzie Gardiner and Mia Gardiner; and also, Paeyton, Hunter, Parker, Mason, Dominic and Josephine.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Assumption Cemetery (19500 S Cottage Grove Ave, Glenwood, IL 60425).
