She was predeceased by: her former husband Hubert Bitter; her parents, Carlo Rasmussen and Edith Rasmussen (Nee Christensen); and her siblings, Calvin Rasmussen and Judith Davies (Wilsey).
She is survived by: her children, Del Bitter (Joy) of Mokena, Debi Gill (Scott) of Winter Haven, FL and Dwain Bitter (Lori) of Napa, California; her grandchildren, Ashley Mercier (Patrick), Amber Mehra (Sunil), Aubrey Gill, Cristian Linguariu (Emma), Kate Bitter and Melissa Ketterling (Kyle); and her husband Hugh. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
