It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Veld (Mokena, Illinois), born in Thornton, Illinois, who passed away on September 17, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Veld and Gertie Veld (Vanderberg); his wife Evelyn Ruth Veld (Fair); and his siblings, Engbert, Gerald, Richard and Marjorie.
He is survived by: his sons, Eugene Veld (Kathy) of DeMotte and Roger Veld (Gloria) of Momence. He is also survived by grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village.
