He was predeceased by: his daughter Randi Muertz; and his brother Ricky R. Muertz. He is survived by: his son Edward P. Muertz; his parents, Richard "Dicky" and Nancy Muertz; his sister Tammi Eschmann (David); and his nieces and nephews, Brittany, Courtney, Heather, Nicole, Danielle and Cody. He is also survived by great nieces and great nephews; cousins; and friends.
