It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Dale Ambrose of Modesto, Illinois, who passed away on July 15, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Ambrose and Hazel Dugger Ambrose; his wife Elsie Hammond; and his brother Coy Ambrose. He is survived by: his daughter Joy Thibadeau (Brian) of Scottville; his nephew John Hammond (LaDona) of Modesto; and his stepdaughter Paula Crowe Sullivan (Ron). He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a great-niece and a great-nephew; two great-great nephews; and a great-great niece.

Memorials may be made to Northwestern Rescue Squad or Palmyra American Legion and sent to Stults-Neece Chapel, 349 E. Tanner, Waverly, Il. 62692.
