It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Augusta Esther Schramm of Modesto, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosario Passalacqua and Mary Spanglo Passalacqua; her grandson Joshua Sonneborn; her great grandchild Mary Hannah Thomson; her siblings, Rosemary Horn, Kathryn "Honey" Passalacqua and Freddie Passalacqua (Clara); her niece Janice Passalacqua Powell; and her husband Marvin K. Schramm (Buster).
She is survived by: her children, Margy Fairfield (Larry) of Palmyra, Cindy Jo Turner (Doug) of Modesto, Kathy K. Campbell (Chris) of Palmyra and Keith "Schrambo" Schramm (Marty) of Palmyra; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Thomson (Bryan), Gabe Fairfield, Adam Turner (Courtney), Gretchen Bilbruck, Shawn Buhl (Brian), Brittany Schramm (Anthony), Kaylie Doran (Jack) and Doug Drew Campbell (Sarah). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; a great-great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
