She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Strohl and Paul Strohl of Stewardson; her husband Howard Koontz; her daughter Wendy; her grandson Ethan; and her siblings, Bonnie, Gary, Junior, Donnie and Steve.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Koontz (Inga) of Adams, TN, Amy Baker (Doug) of Carbondale and Cathy Koontz (Brad Montgomery) of Strasburg; her sisters, Marge Rieman of Effingham and Linda Rentfrow (Floyd) of Gordonsville, TN; her grandchildren, Cody Koontz, Mica Cadena (Donovan), Hannah and Samuel Baker; and her great grandchild Adalyn Cadena.
