He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Mummel and Velma C. Mummel (DeVore); and his brothers, Edward Mummel (Una), Durward Mummel (June) and Raymond Mummel.
He is survived by: his daughter Penny Simmons (Joey) of Mode, IL; his grandchildren, Drew Robison (Jessica), Corryna Phillips (David) and Jessie McFarland (Scott); and his sister-in-law Edith Mummel of La Vergne, TN.. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
