Jane Slifer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2020, at the age of 67, Jane Slifer (Mode, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth 'Red Koenig and Martha Schultz (Heath); her brother Kenny Koenig; and her brothers-in-law, Kenny Smith and Jerry Haarmann.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne of Mode; her children, Chris Slifer (Shelli) of Mode, Sherry Ahrling (Jim) of Plainview and Kari Helmink (Tony) of Mode; her grandchildren, Olivia Helmink, Gracie Slifer, Mollie Slifer, Harrison Helmink, Hank Ahrling, Thomas Slifer, Tucker Ahrling, Camille Helmink and William Ahrling; her siblings, Becky Fox (Kyle), John Koenig (Patsy), Bev Smith, Barb Schneider (Leroy), Margie Haarmann and David Koenig (Melissa); and her sister-in-law Diane Koenig.
A celebration of life is planned Saturday, June 20th at the home of Wayne and Jane Slifer, 314 County Highway 25, Mode IL 62444 Because of COVID-19 regulations, friends are encouraged to pay their respects per a 'drive-through' receiving line from 9am to 11am.
Because of Jane's love of children, memorials may be made to Stewardson-Strasburg School for the purpose of aiding children in need.
