Though Dirk may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Elbert Isley and Jewell Eileen Isley (Powers); and his brother David Elbert Isley. He is survived by: his sons, Adam Isley (Jessica) of Chatham, IL and Evan Isley (Kelsey) of Murphysboro, IL; his brother Dennis Isley (Kathy) of Shelbyville, IL; and his grandchildren, Ben, Holly and Rowan Isley.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Howe & Yockey Funeral Home (415 N Broadway St, Shelbyville, IL 62565). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Shelby County Jr. Rifle and Shooting Sports Club.
