With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sally Scheel of Minooka, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on May 25, 2022 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Vernon "Skip" Scheel; her brothers-in-law, Jason Randles and David Castillo; and her great-nephew Noah. She is survived by: her mother Alice Scheel (Henkelman) of Wilmington; her siblings, Shane Scheel (Madonna) of Wilmington, Shawn Scheel of Wilmington, Sherl Randles of Wilmington, Scott Scheel (Kay) of Wilmington, Sonja Castillo of Wilmington, Stacy Egizio (Adam) of Wilmington and Sloan Scheel (Jennifer) of Wilmington; her nieces and nephews, Leya Mitchell (Jon), Cort Scheel (Kayla) of Brookfield, Stephanie Cherney (Scott), Amy Castillo (Jeremy Wells), Emily Castillo, Dallas Bastillo (Mitch), Kelly Kirst (Noah) of Alexandria, Madison Scheel (Brad Abderhalden) and Ava Scheel; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Chloe, Nicholas, Anthony Wells, David Castillo-Neese, Ian, Lincoln, Finn Mitchell, Ruby Scheel, Norah and Vivian Cherney; and her close friend Fred Ashcraft of Shadow Lakes.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Sally's memory to the Just Animals Shelter in Mazon.
