He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Lucille Fonck (Govoni); and his sister Agnes Botka. He is survived by: his wife Rochelle; his children, Robert J. Fonck II (Renee), David N. Fonck (Barbara), Raymond E. Fonck (Belinda Grote), June A. Riffel (David) and Carol L. Musgrave (David); and his siblings, Mary Lou Birsa (Bill), Rose Vercellotti and Leo Fonck (Sharon). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fruland Funeral Home (121 W Jefferson St, Morris, IL 60450). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the St Mary's Cemetery (500 Bob Blair Rd, Minooka, IL 60447).
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Robert's memory to Lightways Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431.
