It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Jean Hegland (Minooka, Illinois), who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert James and Elizabeth "Bessie" James; and her siblings, Lois Anderson, Betty James, Nancy Frieh and Bill James.
She is survived by: her children, Bobbie Pollesch (Lynn), Sherry McNeill (Jim), James Hegland and Kathy Delaney (Gary); her grandchildren, Bob, Cary, Steven Gillespie, Johnny, Nicholas McNeill, Kate Kardol (Gertjan) and Michael Delaney (Richelle); her siblings, Shirley Weese, Beverly James and Robert James; and her friend Char Ward. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Face masks and social distancing must be observed.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Phyllis' name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
