He was predeceased by: his parents, Lars Hansen and Thea Hansen (Danielson); his brothers, Edwin, Sherman and Harvey Hansen; his grandson Steven; and his nephew Lance.
He is survived by: his wife Lois; his children, Darrell of Morris, Mark (Kim) of Minooka, Brad (Angie) of Wilmington and Lori Stress (Brian) of Eau Claire, WI; and his sister-in-law Betty Hansen (Manhattan). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice or Plattville Lutheran Church Cemetery fund.
