Joseph J. Sitar Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph J. Sitar Sr. of Minooka, Illinois, born in Riverside, New Jersey, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sitar and Anne Sitar (Nee Bodine); his son John E. Sitar; his sisters, Anne Carey and Veronica Chapla; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Brennan (late JoAnne), Jack Blatti and Lou Maffeo.
He is survived by: his wife Sally (Nee Brennan); his children, Michelle Hunckler (Scott), Joe Sitar Jr. (Denise), Jeff Sitar (Missy) and Jennifer O'Neil (Patrick); his grandchildren, Kristie Anderson (Rob), Kelli Hunckler (Jerum Hubbert), Scott Hunckler Jr., Kevin Hunckler, Elizabeth, Matthew, Meaghan Sitar, Marie, J. C. Sitar, Shae and Ryan O'Neil; and his great grandchildren, Rylee, Grace, Conner Anderson, Riley and Hailee Hubbert. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials to Midwest Old Threshers, or Lightways Hospice in Joe's name would be greatly appreciated.
