He is survived by: his wife Nancy Biel of Minooka, Illinois; his children, Kristopher Biel (Alexandria Forsythe) of Oak Forest, Kevin Biel (Jennifer) of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, Raeann Renteria of Minooka, Tammy Head (Robert) of Downers Grove and Nikki Schiro (Nick) of Channahon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Julian, Arianna Renteria, Seth, Ethan, Mya Schiro, Ella and Allie Biel; and his brother John Biel (Sue) of Indianapolis.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Reeves Funeral Home (408 E Washington St, Morris, IL 60450). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
