She was predeceased by: her husband David P. Crater; and her parents, Earl Lyme and Viola Lyme. She is survived by: her children, Dave Crater (Sandra), Evalene "Evie" Rowley (Frank) and Larry Crater (Tracy); her grandchildren, David Crater (Tamme), Kurt Crater (Jenn), Jeff Crater (Jennifer), Mandy Larson (Dwight), Joe Duvrovich (Amy), Rachel Bearden (Kent), Matthew Jones, Frank Jr. Rowley (Brittney), John Rowley (Masha), Jennifer Yurkovich (Jim), Laura Henkaline (Ryan) and Michelle Daminco (Mike); and her friend Lucille. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Erlene's name to Minooka United Methodist Church would be most appreciated.
