He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Koleske and Mary Koleske (Jilek); and his brothers, Victor Koleske, Robert and Thomas Koleske.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara May Gapko of Minooka; his children, Cynthia Sandburg, Maverick "Buddy" Rizzo (Karen), Russell Allen Koleske, Vicky Kovacs (Ernie) and Jennifer McWilliams (Joseph); his granddaughters, Echo, Crystal Sandburg, Tanya, Trisha Allison, Tia Koleske and Ava Kovacs; his sister Cynthia Koleske-Tamos (late Raymond); and his sisters-in-law, Judy Lang (David) and Jean Kruser (Darrell). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
