He was predeceased by: his children, David S. Downey and Chris Walton of Joliet, IL. He is survived by: his brothers, Glenn and Gerald; his spouse Ruth Frey; his children, Joyce Mitchell of Martin, KY, Mary Lirot of Joliet, IL, Darlene Christenson of Virginia Beach and Phillip Downey of Minooka, IL; and his wife Margaret Mae Richardson.
