With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene E. Thornton of Minooka, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on December 21, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Anderson and Harriet Anderson (Spafford); her husband Todd Thornton; and her siblings, Charles Anderson and Nancy Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Nettles (Robert), Amy Bellus (Daniel), Lisa Brewer (Larry), Julie Dasbach (Bill) and Andrew Thornton (Kathlen); her grandchildren, Benjamen, Sean Nettles, Sara, Mary Bellus, Jennifer Felipe, Robert Hausken, Kevin Dasbach, Todd and Felesa Thornton; and her brothers, Ed Anderson (Diane) and Andrew Anderson (Nancy). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Darlene's name to either Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care or Minooka United Methodist Church.
