She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Coveny; and her mother Justine Grizzi. She is survived by: her children, Giana Giermala (Jeff Lyon), Matt Giermala (Jenny) and Bryan Coveny (Diana); her grandchildren, Lucas Giermala, Natalie, Nicholas and Noelle Coveny; her sister Marguerite Grizzi; and her mother-in-law Bev Coveny. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be made to Be the Match or Lightways Hospice.
