It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond C. Matter of Minonk, Illinois, born in Paulding, Ohio, who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Matter and Rosina Gastmann Matter; his wife Barbara L. Hoffman; his son Daniel; and his brother Melvin Matter.

He is survived by: his children, Susie Matter of Lisle, IL, Donald Matter (Doris) of Waleska, GA and Scott Matter (Susan) of Belleville, IL; his sister Dorothy Kuhl of Juno Beach, FL; and his grandchildren, Alex Matter, Michael, Chase and Kamden DeJournett.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or OSF Hospice.
