He was predeceased by: his mother JoAnn Manchester Ruestman; his parents-in-law, Tom and PJ Ketchmark; and his siblings-in-law, Tommy Ketchmark and Jackie Ruestman.
He is survived by: his father Rodney R. Ruestman; his wife Christie Ruestman; his children, Morgan Koehler (Rick), Jordan Meyer (Jon) and Trent Ruestman (Tracy); his grandchildren, Cali, Braxton, Ricki, Clayton Koehler, Lincoln, Hattie, Harrison Meyer and Palmer Ruestman; his siblings, Tim Ruestman (Lisa Stevens), Tracy Harsted (Dave), Russell Ruestman (Lanna), Mindy Johnson (Scott) and Corey Ruestman (Jaime); and his sisters-in-law, Colleen Weber (Wayne) and Cindy Meyer (Craig).
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home - Minonk (775 N Chestnut St, Minonk, IL 61760). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (79 W 3rd St, El Paso, IL 61738).
