He was predeceased by: his parents, William Murrah and Bettie Rutledge Murrah; his sister Sandy Dillman; and his father-in-law Robert Kidd. He is survived by: his children, Tyler Murrah (Jordan) of Minonk, Matthew Grimsley (Ashton Vacanti) of Bloomington and Kelsey Murrah of Champaign; his grandchildren, Oaklee Ava Grimsley, Jaxson Robert Grimsley and Madelyn Faith Murrah; his siblings, Robert Murrah, Rick Murrah, Reed Murrah of Peoria, Lorri Smith (Reggie) of Mason City, Jack (Julie), Tom Laznik of Urbana and Shellie Sprouse of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; his mother-in-law Linda Kidd of El Paso; his grandfather-in-law Clara Chinowth; his brother-in-law Richard Kidd (Sue Ann Buck) of El Paso; his pets, Roxie and Caesar; his brothers, Greg Rhoton (Deb) of Sidney, IL, Troy Splittstoesser (Christina) of Monticello, Roger Flaningam (Gail Miller) of Champaign, Tony Wood (Cheri Gitz) of St. Joseph, John Finn (Liz) of Sidney, Ricky Cline of El Paso, Richard Stillwell (Shawna) of Minonk, Brett Anderson (Kim) of Minonk, Stephen Malcolm (Jenny) of Flanagan and Monty Montgomery (Trina) of Dana; and his niece Desirae. He is also survived by nephew.
