With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Meyer of Minonk, Illinois, who passed away on April 17, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Barbara; his brother Warren "Bud" Meyer; and his siblings-in-law, Marie "Billie" Meyer, Bill and Bob Noble.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Meyer (Lechner) of Minonk; his children, Kimberly Sullivan (Duane) of Minonk and Jeff Meyer (Christi) of Brookfield, WI; his grandchildren, Brandon, Jordan and Logan; his son Eric Meyer (Julie) of Minonk; his grandchildren, Myndi Devore (Charlie), Brett (Lindsay) and Jacob (Derek); his son Craig Meyer (Cindy) of Minonk; his grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas and Mackenzie; his stepdaughter Lora Adams (Bill) of LeRoy; his stepgranddaughter Vivian; his stepson David Lechner of Gilbert, AZ; his stepgrandchildren, McKenzie and Shallan; his stepson Paul Lechner (Tammy) of Victoria; his stepgrandchildren, Tygre, Maddox, Braxton and Kiely; his great grandchildren, Emerson, Marlowe Devore, Finley and Haddie Meyer; his sisters-in-law, Sue Morrison Burger (James) of Rockford and Margie Bishop (Gil) of Charlotte, MI; and his nephew John R. Meyer. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Minonk Baptist Church, Minonk Ambulance Squad, or Fieldcrest Football.
