He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sanders and Edna Sanders; his brother Bob Sanders; and his grandson Brett Timothy Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sanders of Minonk, IL; his sons, Robert Sanders (Mandy) of Franklin, WI and Timothy Sanders (Tammy) of Minonk, IL; his grandchildren, Brandon Sanders (Cass) of Edmond, OK, Brianne Miller (Zach) of Gridley, IL and Brady Sanders (Alexandra) of Normal, IL.; his great grandchildren, Braxton, Audree, Creed and Maveric Sanders of Edmond, OK; and his sister Pat Sanders of Washington, PA. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home - Minonk (775 N Chestnut St, Minonk, IL 61760). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Minonk (300 E 5th St, Minonk, IL 61760).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Minonk Ambulance Squad or the First Baptist Church of Minonk.
