It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Emmerson Hartzler of Minonk, Illinois, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roy and Martha Saltzman Hartzler; and his siblings, Harold, Glenn, Alan, Helen Bachman, Frederick, John, Paul, Melvin, Edwin, Leona Janssen, Mark, Mary JoAnne Kirkton and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Ann Baumann; his children, Jay of Bloomington, Thea of Peoria and Angela Kirkendall (Keith) of Olympia, WA.; his grandchildren, Sara Hartzler-Andrejasieh (Adam) of Austin, TX, Elizabeth of Bloomington, Clayton Glasper of Lincoln, NE, Lena Kirkendall of Olympia, WA and Lincoln Horstmann of Peoria; and his great grandchild Cayo.
