Carter of Minonk, Illinois, born in Center, Texas, who passed away on August 12, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Carter and Leona Moore Carter; his wife Betty D. Pierceall; his daughter Lillian; and his siblings, John Ralph, Alfred, Joe Drake, Garth, Barbara, James and Mary Jo.
He is survived by: his children, Drake Carter of Bismark, ND, Sarah (Steve), S. C. and Cliff Carter (Patti); his stepchildren, Linda Adams, Tony Pierceall (Renee), Tenn, Jan Beschorner (Rich), James Pierceall and Karen Klendworth (Scott); and his sisters, Lottie and Leona Mae. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
