We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2023, at the age of 86, Robert F. Freitag of Minier, Illinois, born in Bloomington, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Simon and Grace Mildred Hanes Freitag; his wife Joyce P. Tucker Myers; and his brother James Freitag. He is survived by: his children, Kay Spurgeon (Terry) of Bloomington, Rob Freitag (Marcus) of St. Paul, TX, Phil Freitag (Richele) of Minier, Robin Freitag of Minier, April McClellan (Marvin) of Armington, Laura Dorris (Tom) of Jerseyville, Vernon Myers (Vicky) of Arrowsmith and Allen Myers of Armington; and his brother Don Freitag (Nancy) of Minier. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
