She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Baird and Mary Ray Baird; her son T. Ronald Nixon; and her son-in-law Bruce Heaton. She is survived by: her spouse Teddy Edwin Nixon; and her daughters, Sharon K. Heaton of Venice, Pamela J. Horner (Bill) of Minier, Teri S. Doehrmann (Gerry) of Minier, Anita G. Foreman (Kevin) of Bloomington and Gwen E. Turner (Michael) of Minier. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ in Miner.
