William David left this world on January 24, 2025 at the age of 100, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Borth and Hallie Borth (Keeny); his wife Ruth Schryver; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy, June Schryver, Ames, Merle and Larry Schryver.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Phyllis Jewell (Steven) of Tampico, Susan Lorke of Lyndon and Mark Ahrens of Maplewood, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Schryver of Emerson, Mary Schryver of Sterling and Harold Schryver of Shannon. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and many great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (717 Stover Ave, Milledgeville, IL 61051). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
